The healthy growth of Children contains countless efforts of parents. In order to get the best education, we need to buy school district houses. In order to cultivate children's interests and hobbies, we have reported countless training courses for children. In order to grow up healthily, we need to buy the best milk powder for children. However, there is one thing parents should never ignore, that is, children's eye health.

One to six years old is the critical period of children's vision development, which has a decisive impact on their life. If many eye diseases cannot be found and treated in time, they will have a significant impact on their vision. And through the careful attention and observation of parents, many children's eye diseases can be eliminated in the bud.

1. Neonatal dacryocystitis. Congenital ophthalmopathy, secondary infection due to obstruction of nasolacrimal duct, retention of tear and bacteria.

2. Congenital ptosis. The upper eyelid shows partial or complete ptosis, covering part of pupil in light cases, and covering all pupil in serious cases, which affects vision and aesthetics.

3. Congenital cataract. About 1 / 3 of blind children are caused by congenital cataract, which seriously affects children's health.

4. Children's strabismus. There are different kinds of eyes with asymmetric eyes, which can be divided into internal and external slants. They are commonly called "opposite eyes" and "cockfighting eyes". They should be treated as soon as possible.

5. Children's amblyopia. Even if they wear glasses, their eyesight will not reach the normal level of their peers' eyesight, which is 100 times more harmful than myopia.

6. Eye injury in children. Children are naturally active and lack of basic protection ability. They are easy to be accidentally injured by sharp objects.

For common children's eye diseases, prevention should be carried out in advance. If the following symptoms are found, it indicates that your child may have eye diseases:

1. The position of the two eyes is abnormal. The eyeball is inclined inward, outward or upward, and the eyeball position is asymmetric. Or involuntary eye movement, known as nystagmus in medicine.

2. Tears, redness and dropsy without cause. There may be neonatal dacryocystitis, conjunctivitis, entropion and other eye diseases.

3. Do not look at the object in front of you or follow the light to turn your eyes. It is suggested that children's binocular vision is poor and their response is slow. When one eye is covered, the child has no response, while when the other eye is covered, it can cause the child to be fidgety and cry, indicating that there is monocular vision disorder or amblyopia.

4. If you often wrestle, like to squint, look at things askew, or you are too close, you may have poor eyesight, such as amblyopia, strabismus, astigmatism, myopia, etc.

5. White pupil. The pupil area, which should be black, shows white and yellow white reflection, which may be congenital cataract, retinoblastoma and other eye diseases.

6. Fear of light. Congenital glaucoma, entropion and trichiasis, keratitis and strabismus are all afraid of light stimulation.

Generally speaking, early detection and treatment of pediatric ophthalmopathy is the only rule. The earlier the treatment, the better the effect.
